Cresting Waves in Cream and Taupe

Two curling waves break across a wide 2:1 canvas in a hushed palette of warm ivory, soft taupe, greige and creamy white, lifted by pale grey-blue sea beyond. Thick sculptural impasto crests of bright white foam catch the light, while smooth, glazed wave bellies glide beneath in soft beige and mushroom tones.

Fluid, sweeping swashes of translucent foam ripple across the lower third, and scumbled mist softens the meeting of wave and sky. Quiet tonal contrast and deliberate hand-painted mark-making lend the seascape depth without harsh highlights — a serene focal point for a living room, bedroom or dining space.
